Let's learn more about English newspapers.

1- Go to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_newspapers_in_the_United_Kingdom and answer these questions:
a-What types of newspapers are there in the United Kingdom?
Broadsheets and Tabloids.
b- What is the difference between broadsheets and tabloids?
The broadsheets are bigger and more seriuos than tabloids.

2- Go to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newspapers and answer the questions:
a-What sizes can a newspaper be presented in?
Broadsheets: 600 mm by 380 mm
Tabloids: half the size of broadsheets at 380 mm by 300 mm
b- What is yellow journalism?
A kind of journalism that explain the live of the famous and some important events, it is destinated to sell lots of exemplars.
3- Go to:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Guardian and answer these questions:
a-What type of newspaper is the Guardian?
Is a Berliner.
b- When and where was The Guardian founded? and who did it?
It was founded in 5 of May of 1821 on Britain.
c- How much is it?
1.70 pounds.

c- Where does it get its name from?
The name was obtained from the student newspaper named The Sun.
d- What type of news does it publish?
The Sun relies heavily on stories and occasionally scandals involving celebrities and the entertainment industry, contained in its general news pages as well as in sections such as Bizarre (pop music stories and gossip) and TV Biz (television stories, concentrating on soaps and reality TV).
e- Describe its headlines.
They are witty, pertinent, outrageous or blatantly offensive.
f- Why is The Sun so controversial?
To attrack the attention of the readers.

Exchange De Nassau-Salvador Espriu

The 25th of March 23 dutch students come to Barcelona to do an exchange with our class. Because we were more people, some of us share 1 dutch student.
They arrive to Girona at 11.15h and they take a bus that leave them near the school.
In the days that they stay here we visit Montserrat, Park Güell, Glòries and Diagonal Mar but they visit also(without us) the golden square and the constructions of Gaudí in Passeig de Gràcia( la pedrera and casa batlló), they also visit the cathedral and Sagrada Familia.
They like a lot going shopping and they buy lots of things. We also go to bowling in Diagonal mar and to the beach in Port Olímpic.
They leave Barcelona the 1st of April, we met in the school at 7h and the leave with a bus to the airport of Girona.

4 year old asked to mark their teachers

4 year olds asked to mark their teachers.

A 4-year-old boy in Canada, tired of his teacher, asked to evaluate him and his partners. He decided to face his teacher after months of boring classes. He said: "You always say i'm wrong but, couldn't it be that you didn't understand my reasonings??" The teacher laughed at the boy's comment, but the schoolboy was taking it seriously. The boy take a piece of paper, and said: "I'm going to evaluate your way to do easy operations". The little boy was sure of his intention and he said all seriously but the teachers think he was silly and they didn't pay atention to him. After 2 years this boy was recognised like one of the most high intelectual level of the world and the teachers that ignored he had expressed their apologize to the family of the boy.
